Cristina Redinger started her career working in sales & marketing for the hotel industry in Spain, after completing her vocational training in Hotel Business in Germany. She has worked as Office Manager in Spain as well as the USA. After managing the office of a commercial photography studio in Köln, she has joined Rupprecht Consult as part of the Office Management Team in September 2023. In her free time Cristina is studying for a B.A. in Sustainability Management.

Building the future of European public transport together in Versailles at the second UPPER Consortium Meeting

Versailles Grand Parc played host to a diverse consortium of 41 partners as they gathered for the second UPPER project meeting on the 13th and 14th of June. This event brought together experts from the field of urban transport to engage in captivating presentations, interactive workshops, and thought-provoking discussions over the course of two days. The strategic and technical sessions allowed the team to engage in fruitful conversations, review processes, identify bottlenecks in project management, and chart the course for the next phase of the initiative.One of the highlights of the event was the series of workshops focused on the development of the UPPER Toolkit, consisting of seven tools. The nationwide online municipal survey for the research project “Indikatoren nachhaltiger urbaner Mobilität” (Indicators of Sustainable Urban Mobility) commissioned by the BMDV will take place until 6 June 2023.Representatives from German municipalities with a population of at least 5,000 people are warmly invited to participate in the survey.The aim of the project is to develop a practical set of indicators to measure sustainable (urban) mobility. By participating in the survey, you can contribute valuable experience from municipal practice and influence the design of suitable indicators.

Session on child and youth friendly planning at BUVKO.

Ralf Brand co-organised a session on child- and youth-friendly urban and mobility planning at the recent BUVKO congress. The session - and Ralf's own presentation - was aimed at exploring ways to create urban environments that are more accessible, welcoming and safer for children and young people.
