Opening Event of Istanbul SUMP Stage II
On December 12th, 2023, Our Colleagues Susanne Boehler and Otar Nemsadze participated in the opening event of Istanbul Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan Phase II. The event was attended by various stakeholders, including the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Delegation of the European Union to Türkiye.
Rupprecht Consult will contribute to two pilot projects that aim to improve mobility resilience to earthquakes and flash floods and propose effective mobility measures in the event of a pandemic.
Susanne Boehler also participated in a panel discussion on sustainable cities and transport with other colleagues from the consortium. The opening event was followed by the second Streeting Committee meeting and the Partner Workshop, where the next steps in the projects were defined.
