So much is happening so fast in the realm of disruptive mobility that the only way to begin to understand it and to start to see patterns is to talk to those directly involved. GECKO has been doing this for several months through online exchange but we had our first face-to-face meeting with 24 stakeholders from across Europe and beyond on 24-25 October in London. Stakeholders came from large and small private industry representatives, local and regional authorities and public transport authorities and associations, NGOs and research. Stakeholders were asked for their input and experience with questions of collaboration between the public and the private sector, types and level of regulation and other factors influencing the successful implementation of new mobility solutions.The output of the workshop will feed directly into several GECKO activities ranging from a map of regulations to an analysis of cooperation models [...]
