Sign up for the final conference of the CoEXist project

31.01.2020

The CoEXist Final Conference will take place in Milton Keynes (UK), on 25-26 March 2020.

After three years of intense work, the CoEXist partners are eager to share their experience and results with a diverse audience of mobility stakeholders. During this two-day event, CoEXist will present the developed tools and methodologies for automation-ready transport modelling and impact assessment, and guidance towards their implementation within urban mobility planning processes and well-informed decision-making. In addition,  panel discussions with road authorities and external experts will take in-depth looks at policy considerations, mobility infrastructure planning and perspectives for the future of Cooperative Connected and Automated Mobility (CCAM) in cities. A training session (limited attendance – apply for a spot!) will complement the programme and help participants to better understand the achievements of the project. The host city Milton Keynes is a city conceived in the 1960s with a population of 265,000 now, which could become up to 400,000 over the next 30 years. The city, based on a US style grid network is supported by high quality roads, generous parking provision in the city centre and complementary segregated cycle and pedestrian networks. Milton Keynes is a centre for the demonstration of new transport technologies with several live trials of autonomous vehicles, C-ITS and vehicle electrification currently underway. You can find the programme <link https: www.h2020-coexist.eu wp-content uploads coexist-final-conference-draft-programme-online1.pdf external-link-new-window external link in new>here and <link https: polisnetwork.civi-go.net civicrm event external-link-new-window external link in new>register here.
