On Wednesday 14th March 2018, several ELIPTIC partners presented the project’s results at the European Electric Vehicle Congress (EEVC) in Geneva in a dedicated session. SUMPs-Up came to Tampere, Finland for three days of action-packed learning about SUMPs! On day one, the Leadership group of 9 experienced cities covering 8 countries met to exchange their activities for the first time. On day two, the 14 cities in the first group of the SUMP Learning Programme (SLP1) had its final workshop, amongst other things learning from Tampere´s SUMP story and advancing each other´s plans in a peer review exercise. On day three, a large group of practitioners from the Baltic region learned and discussed sustainable urban mobility planning.

SUMPs-Up has opened the call for cities to join the next round of its SUMPs Learning Programme (SLP). Up to 40 planning authorities have the chance to take part in SLP 3 and 4, which start in September and December 2018 respectively. Together these groups of mobility practitioners will form the second Expert Group of SUMP cities.

The CIVITAS evaluation framework includes two complementary aspects: impact evaluation and process evaluation.
