SUNRISE addresses mobility challenges through co-creation at the neighbourhood level in six cities across Europe and the Middle East.Alongside the mobility benefits for the action neighbourhoods, the project will result in a suite of products – most prominently the SUNRISE Neighbourhood Mobility Pathfinder – which will be provided to European cities, their stakeholders, and citizens to inspire and inform change across Europe.

In particular the conference stream on the revision of the SUMP Guidelines, as announced in the opening plenary by Siegfried Rupprecht, received a lot of interest. A wide range of valuable input by many fellow SUMP projects and practitioners was collected in the session B1, which kicked-off the stakeholder process for the revision of the Guidelines, as well as number of other sessions throughout the conference. Rupprecht Consult is already looking forward to the SUMP Conference 2019 in Groningen, where the draft results of the Guideline revision will be presented to the public!
