The Trolley 2.0 project will invite a total of eight city authorities and/ or public transport operators to join the Trolley 2.0 User Forum. Application deadline is 1 October 2018.

ELIPTIC policy recommendations on multi-purpose use of public transport infrastructure published

As one of the main outcomes of the ELIPTIC - Electrification of Public Transport in Cities project, the ELIPTIC policy recommendations have been published. The document is a summary of the lessons learnt around ELIPTIC's main research question on how to make more efficient use of the existing public transport infrastructure for the charging of non-rail-bound electric vehicles.

Revision of SUMP Guidelines successfully launched at SUMP Conference 2018, presentations now available

Rupprecht Consult was well represented at the SUMP Conference 2018 in Nicosia, with not less than six presentations during the two days of the programme. In particular the conference stream on the revision of the SUMP Guidelines, as announced in the opening plenary by Siegfried Rupprecht, received a lot of interest. A wide range of valuable input by many fellow SUMP projects and practitioners was collected in the session B1, which kicked-off the stakeholder process for the revision of the Guidelines, as well as number of other sessions throughout the conference. Rupprecht Consult is already looking forward to the SUMP Conference 2019 in Groningen, where the draft results of the Guideline revision will be presented to the public!

AlpInnoCT Mid-term Conference at the 10th Symposium Logistik Innovativ at Prien am Chiemsee, 8th-9th May

On 8th and 9th of May, the mid-term Conference of the project “Alpine Innovation for Combined Transport – AlpInnoCT” took place at Prien am Chiemsee, Germany, in combination with the biennial logistics conference “Symposium Logistik Innovativ”. Final Conference of the ELIPTIC project took place on 26 - 27 of April

On 26 and 27 April 2018, 125 experts from 15 countries met in Bremen to present and discuss the results of the European research project ELIPTIC at a final conference.

The CIVITAS SATELLITE Webinar: "Connected and Automated Driving (CAD) in Cities: How can cities prepare for CAD?" took place on 26th February 2018.
