Welcome back, Saydrina!
Last May, Rupprecht Consult welcomed its first interns to the team. Saydrina Ann Govender (South African) completed her undergraduate and honours degrees at the University of Cape Town in Environmental and Geographic Science, with a strong focus on urban challenges and atmospheric science. She joined the team last year as part of her MSc. in Sustainability and Consultancy at the University of Leeds, U.K. During her time with the firm she developed her MSc. thesis from the SUMI project in the arena of sustainability performance. This winter Saydrina graduated with merit and joins us again, this time to take part in a 12-month trainee programme. She will continue to learn and apply her knowledge while working on the job. Her tasks include project management assistance, support in developing new EU research projects and proposals, participation in analytical work, and event organisation. She also will also continue to develop communication skills as a working professional and gain international co-operation experience, enabling her to become a valuable point of contact in South Africa in the expansion of the Rupprecht Consult network.
