'Planning for a liveable city' will be the guiding theme for a conference to be held in Sopot, Poland on 12-13 June 2014.
The European Conference on Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (SUMP) in Sopot in June is the first European-wide conference specifically dedicated to this important policy topic. Rupprecht Consult has the responsibility to organise three SUMP conferences in 2014, 2015 and 2016 as partner in the <link http: www.epomm.eu endurance index.php _blank>ENDURANCE project. In the preparation of the 2014 conference we are cooperating with our partners at Polis, ICLEI and EPOMM as well as the lcoal host, the University of Gdansk, Faculty of Economics in Sopot, Poland. The conference is targeted at urban mobility planners and implementers from all over Europe. It offers opportunities to learn and exchange about the latest developments in the field of SUMPs and to network with fellow planners and other experts. The conference is hosted by the European Platform on Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans. It will offer insights into ongoing European urban mobility and SUMP projects and provide an opportunity for cities to get involved in European projects and benefit from experiences and expertise gained by other cities.
