Project goal

The project aimed to develop a comprehensive training program on sustainable mobility planning (SUMP) for municipal employees in Hesse in order to strengthen employees' skills and drive forward the mobility transition in Hessian municipalities.

Results

The results of the project were recorded in a comprehensive final report.

Below is the information you requested to be remembered:

1. Needs Analysis and Comparison with Existing Training Courses: At the beginning of the project, a comprehensive needs analysis was conducted. We also examined existing training courses to find ways to work together and avoid repeating the same material. We identified the needs of the Hessian municipalities through a focus group.

2. Overall Concept of the Training Program: We created a detailed plan that clearly outlines the structure, content, and target groups of the training program. The program is made up of various modules, some of which are compulsory and others optional.

3. Detailed Concept of the Modules: We developed a fact sheet for each module, providing details about the format, duration, target audiences, specific learning objectives, and questions to be addressed.

4. Exemplary Training Module: The report includes a sample module that can be used as a model for the training. This module has a detailed schedule and is based on practical and interactive learning methods.

5. Recommendations for Trainers: We've defined criteria for choosing potential trainers to ensure they have the necessary technical and teaching skills. We also created a list of potential trainers.

6. Quality Assurance: We've developed measures to continuously improve the training program. This includes feedback mechanisms for participants and trainers, as well as evaluation processes after each module.
