Coordinator Rupprecht Consult

Project goal

The SUMPs will address sustainable modes such as walking, cycling, and public transport, as well as, parking, traffic safety, environmental, and social aspects, and overall public space quality through an integrated approach. The plans will include thorough assessments of current and future trends, a broadly supported vision with strategic goals, and a comprehensive mix of regulatory, promotional, financial, technical, and infrastructural measures. Developed transparently with stakeholder consultation, the plans will comply with Moldovan legal frameworks and European best practices, incorporating the latest methodologies and strategic guidance from the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development of the Republic of Moldova.

Role of Rupprecht Consult

Rupprecht Consult takes the lead in coordinating the project and managing stakeholder cooperation and communication. This includes organising strategic sessions with the working group.

 

Additionally, RC focuses on key activities such as developing strategic policies, creating a clear mobility vision, and selecting priority measures and projects for inclusion in mobility plans. This also includes supporting the development of Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (SUMPs).
