Webinar on the implementation and monitoring of SUMPs took place on June 1

As part of our learning programme on SUMPs for Latin American cities, we organised another webinar in Spanish for the community of practice of EUROCLIMA+ and MobiliseYourCity uon how to properly manage the implementation and monitoring of SUMPs.

As part of our learning programme on SUMPs for Latin American cities, we hosted another webinar in Spanish on June 1st for the community of practice of EUROCLIMA+ (<link https: www.rupprecht-consult.eu project external-link-new-window external link in new>www.rupprecht-consult.eu/project/sumps-for-latin-america.html) and MobiliseYourCity (<link https: www.mobiliseyourcity.net external-link-new-window external link in new>www.mobiliseyourcity.net) under the title of “Gestionando adecuadamente la implementación y monitoreo de los Planes de Movilidad Urbana Sostenible” (Properly Managing the Implementation and Monitoring of Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans). The webinar was animated by our colleague Katy Huaylla and featured three presentations by experts of transport policy and implementation:

• Alexnadra Cedeño, Director of Sustainable Mobility at the National institute of transit and inland transportation (INTRANT, República Domincana)
• Pablo Juica, technical advisor in transport planning and sustainable mobility at the GIZ
• Mateo Gomez, Advisor in sustainable urban mobility at MobiliseYouCity

In the session, presenters provided great recommendations, examples and best practices on how to better manage the implementation and monitoring of Sustainable Mobility Plans. The session was quite insightful and gathered over 126 engaged attendees throughout the online event.
