On Monday 20 September, the SOLUTIONSplus Latin American regional training started! Around 200 local authorities and city representatives from the Latin American region joined to discuss on e-mobility critical issues.
The program is planned to take place in September-October 2021, the content is focused on the regulatory framework and requirements for regulating the safe circulation of electric vehicles in cities. It also addresses the transition to e-mobility in urban logistics, with a focus on last mile deliveries. The agenda is divided into two modules of one week each. The first module took place from 20-24 September.The kick-off session and Unit 1 on 20 September attracted a large number of participants from the whole region. Around 200 local authorities and city representatives from many Latin American cities gathered digitally to learn on e-mobility and discuss critical issues. The session was focused on the "Why and how e-mobility in Latin America" and counted with contributions from several partners such as UEMI (Urban Electric Mobility Initiative), Euroclima+, UNEP, government of Uruguay and us (Rupprecht Consult).
