See what a seamless journey in Northwest Europe could look like in 2030
The SYNAPTIC cluster project has launched a vision of a seamless public transport journey in 2030.Taking as an example an international journey from Preston in northwest England to Delft in the Netherlands, the vision considers connections, ticketing and information systems to create a seamless, productive journey. Focussed on the needs of the traveller, SYNAPTIC seeks to improve the overall door-to-door journey so that journeys are coordinated, integrated and easy, with points of friction between different stages removed or reduced.
