SUMP guidelines now available in Hungarian

07.01.2021

The guidelines for sustainable urban mobility plans have been spread across the world in English already, supporting national, regional and local authorities in creating sustainable plans for their cities and functional urban areas.

Meanwhile, many national institutions have been working to translate the SUMP guidelines into their own language to make them even easier to use and thereby to better establish the concept in their countries. Our partner <link https: mobilissimus.hu external-link-new-window external link in new>Mobilissimus and the <link http: www.kti.hu external-link-new-window external link in new>KTI Research Institute for Transport Science have now developed a Hungarian version. With their experience in working with SUMP they have, among other things, supported cities with their plan development, offered national trainings and built up a national platform of knowledge and exchange on the topic. With the translation, Hungarian decision-makers and planners are encouraged to apply the concept of SUMP and establish integrated planning practices. <link https: www.eltis.org sites default files sump-magyar_versio_2_12_22_online_vegleges_1.pdf external-link-new-window external link in new>Click here to view and download the Hungarian SUMP guidelines.
