Rupprecht Consult in one of the leading roles, put together the first consortium meeting which stimulated and inspired the participants through technical discussions/workshops and was also a networking opportunity for people behind the person months in the SCALE project.
The event was successful in setting up a solid base for the hardware and software development and also the pilot demonstrations in different sites across Europe. Knowledge was exchanged between the partners by curated workshops on innovation areas in SCALE as well as critical workpackages like 'Monitoring, evaluation and impact assessment', 'Testing use cases and development of business cases', 'Preparing for mass deployment' and 'Communication, replication & European take-up' brought their questions which traslated to action items for the coming months.
This 2-day event at Utrecht and Arnhem also included field visit for a Elaad's test lab at Arnhem and on the streets of Utrecht where smart charging and V2G is already a reality at the neighbourhood scale which is one of the primary goals of SCALE to make this reality happen at EU-sacale. These visits were a great inspirtaion and a vision to all the SCALE partners.
