Documentation of DYN@MO Summer University on SUMP available

An extensive web-based summary of the CIVITAS DYN@MO Summer University on Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans held in Palma on 26-28 June 2013 is now available from: gitmot.uib.es/USB%20Summer%20University/START.html

On 26-28 June 2013 the CIVITAS DYN@MO project held its first Summer University in Palma de Mallorca under the title “Engaging in a dynamic dialogue for Sustainable Urban Mobility Planning”. The event was dedicated to Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans and the need of involving citizens in the mobility planning process. As the DYN@MO Summer University generated a great number of interesting ideas, debates and proposals, the organising committee decided to prepare an extensive bilingual (Spanish and English) web-based summary, compiling all documents generated during the sessions: gitmot.uib.es/USB%20Summer%20University/START.html.

The website contains:

• The agenda of the event.
• Short abstracts of the presentations and the workshops
• The powerpoint presentations and some of the papers of the speeches
• A video of the stakeholders roundtable
• Other documents (map of the guided tour through the city, photo gallery, etc.)

The second Summer University entitled "Implementing city and citizen friendly electric vehicles” will take place in Palma on 14-16 May 2014.
