The CIVITAS-ELAN Final Conference was held on 27-28 June 2012. About 100 participants from all five ELAN cities came to Ljubljana to present and discuss the highlights and main achievements of four years of strong cooperation and interaction.
The CIVITAS-ELAN Final Conference was held on 27-28 June 2012. About 100 participants from all five ELAN cities came to Ljubljana to present and discuss the highlights and main achievements of four years of strong cooperation and interaction.The conference kicked off with the opening ceremony for the exhibition “CIVITAS-ELAN – Five cities for better mobility” by the Mayor of Ljubljana, Zoran Janković.In accordance with the main mission of CIVITAS ELAN, “to ‘mobilise’ our citizens by developing with their support clean mobility solutions for vital cities, ensuring health and access for all”, the Final Conference was held in a large tent on one of Ljubljana’s main squares and citizens were able to join the Final Conference to get an insight into the project and its results.The Site Coordinators of the five ELAN cities (Ljubljana, Zagreb, Gent, Brno and Porto) presented their main achievements and the political representatives of the five cities provided an outlook on their future plans regarding the continuation of ELAN measures after the end of the project and on their future vision for sustainably mobility in their cities.+49 221 6060 55 20
