CIVITAS DYN@MO will hold its first Consortium Meeting and Project Kick-off in Aachen, Germany, between the 28th and 30th of January 2013.
The City of Aachen and Rupprecht Consult will host the first consortium meeting and project kick-off event, beginning on Monday, January 28th through Wednesday January 30th, to officially launch the CIVITAS DYN@MO project. To celebrate this exciting new project, Mr. Mathieu Grosch, member of the European Parliment and Transport Committee, will be in attendance as well as representatives of the European Commission and all 28 project partners, and additional distinguished guests. The 28 project partners come from Aachen, Germany; Gdynia, Poland; Koprivnica, Croatia; and Palma, Spain, with the support of the Union of Baltic Cities, Lund University and Rupprecht Consult. The three day event will take place in the German city of Aachen, providing the opportunity for partners to exchange ideas on innovative policies and investments in clean urban transport. Partners will have the opportunity to partake in guided tours, presentations, workshops and discussions all focused on furthering the efforts of sustainable urban mobility. The mission of CIVITAS DYN@MO is to strengthen sustainable mobility by promoting non-polluting lifestyles through social interaction and collaboration on the basis of new media, and through the integrated implementation of innovative transport services for active citizens of all ages. The project will run for 48 months, and is a joint collaboration between 28 innovative project partners.
