As part of the stakeholder engagement process with the local case study cities, our team has conducted six workshops between June and October define TANGENT system requirements and discuss multi-actor cooperation mechanisms. Three additional workshops were added to the ones originally plan to ensure the complete understanding of stakeholders' needs to define TANGENT system requirements.
The first set of Stage 2 online workshops held in Lisbon, Rennes and Manchester in June/July, was held with the support of technical partners to define together the stakeholders' needs and system requirements for TANGENT services. In addition to these workshops, stakeholders were able to provide their input through two questionnaires, covering cooperative network traffic management, traffic network optimisation, data management and additional needs for specific TANGENT functionalities. As a result of these workshops, TANGENT partners were able to understand the interest of each use case in testing specific functionalities as well as defining TANGENT system requirements.
The second set of Stage 2 online workshops held in Lisbon, Rennes and Manchester in September/October aimed to further specify the scope and parameters of each case study's test scenarios and identify suitable cooperative traffic management measures to implement. And, in this way, we aspired to agree on the roles of each involved stakeholder and develop optimal frameworks for multi-actor cooperation and arbitration models, which will be implemented through the TANGENT services. Multi-actor cooperation in TANGENT covers different aspects, from data sharing to network traffic management and implementation of selected measures.
The next workshops with stakeholders as part of the stakeholder engagement strategy will take place at a later stage of the project to identify the impacts of TANGENT implementation. In the meantime, local stakeholders will continue to engage with each other, the case study leaders and project partners to prepare and implement TANGENT services.
