In order to reach Germany's goal to cut GHG-emissions by 40% until 2020 compared to 1990 levels, the German Ministry for Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety (BMUB) has detailed additional measures in the Climate Action Program 2020 ("Aktionsprogramm Klimaschutz 2020") and the Climate Action Plan 2050 ("Klimaschutzplan 2050"). As part of the technical support for the implementation of these plans in the field of transportation, Rupprecht Consult conducted a stakeholder consultation process with leading experts in the field of eco-driving. As a result of this, suitable actions for the topic of eco-driving were be suggested to the Federal Environment Agency (UBA).
