This project is expected to further accelerate the adoption of more sustainable and fair transport and mobility solutions in cities, by strengthening the ability of the MIT’s National Observatory for Sustainable Local Mobility Planning and Monitoring to plan and support decision-making at the local level.

Planned results:
- Deliverable 2 – Technologies and good practices on public transport and urban mobility strategies - Recommendations for the achievement of the “Fit for 55” objectives
- Deliverable 3 – Toolbox for the successful implementation of SUMPs in Italy
- Deliverable 4 – Methodological support for establishing a new Sustainable Mobility Behavioural Insight Team and launching a pilot nudging lab
- Deliverable 5 – Training program and targeted capacity building for designing and managing SUMPs
The Core Team will be supported by two advisors from Rupprecht Consult (RC) specialising in SUMPs, which will be bringing in their cross-EU thematic expertise, supporting our professionals across all foreseen Deliverables, also assuring access to relevant European networks, and facilitating identification of international best practices examples
