Forgiving Roads

The project aims to help the Commission by contributing to the development of guidelines for designing forgiving roadsides and self-explaining, self-enforcing roads during the initial design phase audit. In addition, these contributions should improve the Commission's guidance on quality standards for infrastructure that serves vulnerable road users. The study aims to establish a set of standards for assessing existing infrastructure and investments in current road infrastructure.
