To implement this highly ambitious goal, a so-called Climate City Contract (CCC) is to be developed, which includes targets and milestones for the realization of the mission for Leipzig. The framework for the development and contents of the Climate City Contract is given by the EU support project NetZeroCities, in which Rupprecht Consult is a partner. Against this background, Rupprecht Consult advises and supports the City of Leipzig to create a starting configuration for the internal working process for the development of the Climate City Contract, which enables the involved core team to fulfill the development of the Climate City Contract and the contents of the mission in the fastest and best possible way.

An essential component of the assignment is the monitoring of internal work processes in the sense of a continuous improvement process. For this purpose, work processes are critically reflected and recommendations for action for further processes are jointly derived and implemented. This process is intended to create the greatest possible synergies between the development of the Climate City Contract and the goals of the City of Leipzig and to make it possible to work cross-functionally, create value at an early stage, strengthen self-organization, learn together on the way to developing the Climate City Contract and to adapt content and cooperation in the process of developing the Climate City Contract again and again with maximum flexibility.
Rupprecht Consult is the coordinator and responsible for the entire implementation of the project.
