The environmental organization NABU (our partner in the OrniTrans project) is looking for a scientific employee (m/f/d) for the Species and Bird Protection Team in the Department of Nature Conservation Policy at the NABU Federal Office in Berlin, subject to funding, as of August 1, 2022.
Settlements continue to grow here as well. Urban transport infrastructure should be as humane as possible. Can this be approximated by their bird-friendliness? So do bird-friendly plans always offer people a livable environment?
NABU tries to answer these questions on the basis of existing citizen science data sets and empirical studies in selected German cities.
Their interdisciplinary team still lacks a proven macroecologist with a corresponding GIS and writing routine.
In order to be able to fill the position on 1 August, interested parties should submit their application documents well before 1 July.
