We have successfully completed the strategie E project! After three years and many interesting and valuable experiences, the strategie E project ended in September 2021.
In this project, the company ebusplan from Aachen developed a software for the strategic deployment planning and technical design of electric buses. During the development period, the pilot users KVB, STOAG and WestVerkehr tested and validated the software prototype and thus contributed to a continuous improvement of the software. In the course of the project, the circle of companies testing the software has expanded. The pilot users Berliner & Leipziger Verkehrsbetriebe as well as NIAG have been added. Rupprecht Consult contributed to the conception of the software and managed the communication between the testers of the different transport companies and the development office ebusplan. Furthermore, we were responsible for the evaluation of the software prototype as well as for the public relations and dissemination of the project results. Within the framework of the "strategie E User Forum", we organised four workshops with numerous other NRW transport companies. During these events, interested transport companies were informed about the current development status of the software and other topics related to the electrification of bus fleets, and important project results were validated. Furthermore, Rupprecht Consult represented and presented the project at the VDV Electric Bus Conference over the last three years.
