TANGENT's Advisory Board had its inaugural meeting

The launch of TANGENT's Advisory Board took place on February 10th.

The TANGENT Advisory Board (AB) is a small group of diverse stakeholders who provide strategic advice and guidance to the consortium, supporting the project to meet its objectives and improve its outcomes.

Our AB is composed of 11 external stakeholders representing various sectors, including business, academia, government, and civil society. The members of the Advisory Board are:

• Horarios do Funchal: Funchal’s transport operator (PT)
• Transdev: an international private sector public transport operator (FR)
• Brisa: an international transportation company, mainly focused on highway management (PT)
• TIER Mobility: a European micro-mobility provider (DE)
• Município de Braga: the municipality of Braga (PT)
• Gemeente Helmond: the municipality of Helmond (NL)
• Circular Economy and Climate Change Institute of EPLO: an international * organization dedicated to the creation and dissemination of knowledge in the area of Public Law (EL)
• FEHRL: a forum for R&D&I in transport infrastructure, composed of national research institutes, universities and transport authorities (BE)
• MLC-ITS Euskadi: a mobility and logistics cluster in the Basque Country (ES)
• MAP traffic management: experts in the field of traffic and mobility management (NL)
• University Of Wolverhampton: a public university in England (UK)

The Kickoff

The first meeting of the project’s AB was held on February 10th, as part of WP1 activities led by Rupprecht Consult. It consisted in pitch presentations, guided Q&A sessions and interactive activities.

During the meeting, the project team provided an overview of the TANGENT’s objectives, activities, and challenges. The AB had the opportunity to share their perspectives, provide feedback and ask questions, leading to discussions on how to ensure the usability of the project tools and results in the long run.

This first online meeting was a great opportunity for the team and AB to get to know each other. We are confident the board will foster robust partnerships, driving the project’s success and contributing to the dissemination of the project’s results.
