SOLUTIONS eLearning winners attend final conference in Berlin

06.06.2016

Two participants from the SOLUTIONS project’s e-learning programme were awarded for their dedicated involvement in the online courses.

Zheng Chuan Yap from Sungai Petani (Malaysia) and João Sancho from Montijo (Portugal) were chosen from a pool of nearly 1,800 participants for successfully completing all the tasks in their SOLUTIONS course, and for being the most active participants in the discussion forum.

The pair – pictured below with Kristin Tovaas from Rupprecht Consult - travelled to Germany to attend the 3rd European Conference on Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans, and the two-day SOLUTIONS Urban Mobility Implementation Action Days event.

The SOLUTIONS project held <link http: www.urban-mobility-solutions.eu resources e-learning _blank>two programmes of e-learning courses in 2015 for professionals working in the field of urban mobility.

The free online courses, held over two periods – spring and autumn – in 2015, were organised for those interested in bringing innovative transport solutions to their town, city or region, and who wished to expand their knowledge and share their experiences with participants from around the world.

Each course, for which no detailed existing knowledge was required, was designed to include tailored tasks and interactions with experts and other participants. The courses and the discussion forum were in English.
