On December 2, Susanne Böhler-Baedeker held a presentation titled "Sustainable Urban Mobility Planning: What are the experiences in Europe?" and participated in a panel discussion on experience exchange in the conference organised by EMBARQ Brazil.
The purpose of the seminar was to build capacity for Brazilian cities to implement the National Policy of Urban Mobility, planning the future and implementing sustainable activities in the present. The Seminar gathered more than 40 Brazilian medium and big size cities, represented by mayors, municipal urban mobility secretaries and technical staff. The seminar presented cutting-edge ideas in the area of sustainable urban mobility, as well as national and international experiences that may inspire Brazilian municipalities to adopt best practices.
