The work of Rupprecht Consult in the EU project ELIPTIC “Electrification of public transport in cities” is supported by several activities in committees and interest groups.
Rupprecht Consult employee Dr Wolfgang Backhaus – together with UITP - supports the sub-group on Alternative Fuels in Cities under the EU-led Sustainable Transport Forum and is also member of the steering board of UITP’s trolleybus committee, responsible for Research & Development issues. In addition, RUPPRECHT is member of trolley:motion – an international action group to promote e-bus systems with zero emission, and we organised an ELIPTIC session during their 5th international e-bus conference in the framework of the Metropolitan Solutions fair on 1st June 2016 in Berlin. The working results of these committees and working groups and the ELIPTIC project will mutually enrich and reinforce each other and finally be integrated into policy activities and the development of recommendations for the electrification of public transport.+49 221 6060 55 0
