As a special highlight, Szeged’s first trolleybus with auxiliary battery was introduced by a local consortium consisting of the public transport operator SZKT, the University of Szeged and Szeged’s local energy provider. The ebus was presented and available for a test drive on-site at Szeged’s trolleybus depot, where the conference was being held.  The almost 100 conference participants also had the chance to visit the TROLLEY Roadshow exhibition and to take a closer look at the recent local investments in trolleybus infrastructure undertaken by SZKT within the TROLLEY project.
