New team member at Rupprecht Consult

Timothy Durant, geographer and city & regional planner, joins the Team on April 7.

He studied at the Universities of Aberdeen and Cardiff and undertook an internship with UN Habitat in Nairobi early in his career. He worked for a 3 year period with a firm of architects in London, managing the development consents process for a range of residential, commercial and public open space schemes. Tim then moved to Arup for a period of 8 years where his roles included: coordination of the planning consents process for major transport, water and energy infrastructure projects; Environmental Impact Assessment review; stakeholder and community consultation; and the preparation of Infrastructure Delivery Plans supporting the production of strategic development plans by city and district councils. He has also contributed to research and evidence base documents covering a variety of policy areas including green infrastructure, housing and renewable energy.  Welcome, Tim!
