On June 29, the wide range of stakeholders of both Working Group and Advisory Group gathered to develop goals and visions for the future development of mobility in Bielefeld.
The Future Search Workshop is an important part of the process of developing a mobility strategy for Bielefeld. It builds upon the analysis of mobility situation and planning practices that has been conducted by Rupprecht Consult in cooperation with the Project Management Team consisting of six members of city administration and public transport provider. It particularly follows up on the results of the first meeting of the Working Group, where the most important mobility problems have been identified by stakeholders.At the Future Search Workshop, the wide group of around 40 stakeholders from city and region has developed visions based on the previous analysis and their own experience. The five groups have complemented the previously identified challenges, formulated overarching visions for their respective topic, have defined startegies to achieve that vision and have suggested targets for these strategies. Afterwards the participants have been introduced to the results of the other groups in a world café, where they had the chance to comment and add to each others results.The next step throughout summer will be the summary of results and development of a first draft of the mobility strategy by Rupprecht Consult.Strategic mobility concept for Bielefeld
