With great enthusiasm, the project team fine-tuned the project's framework and activities in Cologne, Germany from 21-22 May 2013.

The project “<link nc projects projects-details project ch4llenge.html>CH4LLENGE - Addressing Key Challenges of Sustainable Urban Mobility Planning”, co-funded by the Intelligent Energy Europe Programme of the European Union, Energy in transport (STEER) funding area, through EACI – Executive Agency for Competitiveness and Innovation, kicked-off this week in Cologne at the premises of <link http: www.vrsinfo.de englisch the-vrs vrs-about-us.html>VRS (Transport Association Rhein-Sieg). The event was organised by the project coordinator Rupprecht Consult. The 33 participants from nine cities and eight support organisations that form the project consortium, together with the EACI representative and the project Ambassador gathered for two days at the first CH4LLENGE consortium meeting. The aims of the meeting were to bring people together that will work as a team during the next three years, to highlight the essentials of CH4LLENGE in regard with the content, administrative and financial aspects and to encourage participants to start planning the upcoming activities within the project. At the end of the meeting, all project team members were inspired, full of ideas and ready to explore solutions to the four main sustainable urban mobility challenges, namely public participation, institutional cooperation, measure identification and monitoring and evaluation.
