On 29 March from 10-16:00 at the townhall (Stadhuis Limburgplein 1) the 2nd EMR Connect Workshop will take place in Hasselt.
Since the first workshop in the framework of Interreg EMR Connect in Aachen was successful in late January POLIS Network and Rupprecht Consult are co-organising the second workshop in cooperation with the City of Hasselt.
The workshop will be splitted into two parts:
An overview of the current plans of the City of Hasselt on urban mobility, Park&Ride and public transport will be includes in the first part. Additionally there will be opportunities provided for exchange during this part of the event. Aachen and other EMR cities are planning to share inputs on their mobility plans (last details are being discussed behind the scenes). After a lunch break the second more interactive part of the event follows in form of a bike ride with all participants to visit the different locations in and around the historic city centre of Hasselt. Of course anyone who cannot cycle will be provided an alternative. The site visits will bring the participants to shared spaces, new active mobility infrastructure, park&ride facilities and several historic sites of Hasselt.
An additional opportunity for exchange will be provided during the informal get-together after the workshop.
