Baltic Active Mobility 2026: Shaping Future Cities

Event Flyer

On 8–9 September 2026, Baltic Active Mobility 2026 will bring together practitioners, experts, and decision-makers from local to national level in Gdynia, Poland.

The conference explores how active mobility and strong SUMPs can help create healthier, more resilient, and future-ready cities.

Organised by the Interreg Baltic Sea Region projects BATS and SUMPs for BSR, the event supports cities in accelerating the transition towards more sustainable and people-centered mobility systems.

The event week kicks off with the UBC Sustainable Cities Commission meeting, followed by a pre-conference day on 7 September featuring site visits in Gdynia - a great opportunity to exchange ideas, align priorities, and shape future collaboration across cities and organisations.

🎤 We’re happy to share that Wolfgang Backhaus will be moderating the session: "Local and Regional Cooperation through Governance Innovation"
