As part of our learning programme on SUMPs for Latin American cities, we will organise another webinar in Spanish for the community of practice of <link https: www.rupprecht-consult.eu project sumps-for-latin-america.html external-link-new-window external link in new>EUROCLIMA+ and <link https: www.mobiliseyourcity.net external-link-new-window external link in new>MobiliseYourCity under the title of “Gestionando adecuadamente la implementación y monitoreo de los Planes de Movilidad Urbana Sostenible” (Properly Managing the Implementation and Monitoring of Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans) on 1 June.The webinar features three presentations by experts of transport policy and implementation:
- Alexnadra Cedeño, Director of Sustainable Mobility at the National institute of transit and inland transportation (INTRANT, República Domincana)
- Pablo Juica, technical advisor in transport planning and sustainable mobility at the GIZ
- Mateo Gomez, Advisor in sustainable urban mobility at MobiliseYouCity
- Katy Huaylla, sustainable mobility consultant at Rupprecht Consult
The aim of the webinar is to provide recommendations, examples and best practices on how to better manage the implementation and monitoring of Sustainable Mobility Plans. It will provide details on how to move from planning to implementation and a brief introduction to financing and the "Monitoring, Reporting and Verification" or MRV methodology.
