The 2nd edition of the SUMP (Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan) guidelines was made available to cities worldwide in 2019.
Meanwhile, many national institutions have been working to translate the guidelines into their language – to make them even easier to use and to establish the concept of SUMPs in their own country. A Greek version has now been developed by the Greek Ministry of Infrastructure and Transportation which has been working intensively on disseminating the SUMP concept with the country. With this release, Greek decision-makers and planners are encouraged to apply the concept of SUMP and establish integrated planning practices.
