Our colleagues Siegfried Rupprecht and Katy Huaylla are presenting the second edition of our SUMP guidelines at the Transport and Climate Change Week. This event is one of the key annual international events organised by our partner Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and aims at creating international as well as interdisciplinary discussions on how we can build more sustainable transport around the world.
This year’s theme is “creating confidence in the feasibility of changing transport”, which is exactly what sustainable urban mobility planning is about: Implementing ways for communities to plan their future transport systems in an integrative, holistic and innovative manner is one of the main elements of SUMP. We are very glad to be able to join the event, contribute to the discussion and learn more about further inspiring approaches on how to move towards a decarbonised future together.
We are happy to be able to join this important event and send out our thanks to all SUMP supporters, for example Maruxa Cardama, SLoCaT Director and the conference moderator at the SUMP booth.
